The EASA 2025 Convention once again brought together a highly experienced and close- knit network of professionals in the electric motor repair and manufacturing industry. While Orange1 America has exhibited at EASA in recent years, we continue to value each opportunity to connect, listen, and learn from long-standing members of this exceptional community.
Throughout the show, we had the chance to speak with motor repair professionals, OEM engineers, and sourcing teams. A few key priorities emerged:
- Legacy DC Systems Are Still Critical
Many shops and OEMs continue to support aging equipment that relies on large DC motors. While modernization is on the horizon for some, others are focused on sourcing high- quality, compatible DC motor replacements that keep their systems running without major redesigns. - Repair Shops Want Confidence in Components
From windings and stators to rotors and commutators, repair teams need components they can trust. Performance, durability, and specification accuracy are non-negotiable—and lead time predictability is becoming a top priority. - Certified Motors for Hazardous Environments
We heard from several attendees working with equipment headed for regulated or safety- critical environments. The ability to source ATEX and IECEx certified motors is key—not only to meet compliance requirements but to give engineers peace of mind in the field. - Relationships Matter More Than Ever
Many of the most valuable conversations we had at EASA weren’t just about product specs—they were about how we support customers. Quick responses, transparent timelines, and a willingness to work together were mentioned again and again as differentiators in today’s supply chain landscape.
Looking Ahead
We’re grateful to the EASA organization and its members for fostering an environment where these important conversations can take place.
At Orange1 America, we’re committed to offering not just quality motors and components—but also responsive support that meets the expectations of U.S.-based professionals.
If you’d like to continue the conversation, we’d love to hear from you.
