Orange1 America is the U.S. branch of Orange1 Holding, a European industrial group known for designing and manufacturing high‑quality electric motors, lift traction machines, commutators, ventilation systems, and customized electromechanical solutions. From our base in Illinois, we support OEMs across North America with Italian-made products, local inventory, technical expertise, and responsive customer service.
For nearly two decades, we have partnered with American equipment manufacturers to supply motors and components used in automotive service equipment, industrial machinery, HVAC systems, lifting equipment, oil and gas applications, and other demanding environments. In the early 2000s, Sergio Arredondo saw an opportunity to help Elpron, an Italian manufacturer of electric motors, expand its reach to the US. And so, Thermolex was born.
Thermolex and Elprom grew the business in the US, building a reputation for quality products and excellent customer service.
In 2014, Elrpom was acquired by Orange1, a global leader in the production of electric motors led by Armando Donazzan. Orange1 was already a force to be reckoned with, but with the addition of Elprom, their portfolio expanded even further.
In 2017, Thermolex expanded its product offerings by including CMO Pumps. CMO is a leading European manufacturer of hydro-pneumatic and manual pumps, and its products are used in equipment found in most car repair shops globally.
In 2023, Orange1 and Thermolex partnered to establish Orange1 America.
